Curtis Amaroso

Curtis discovered his talent for cutting hair back in high school, where he quickly became proficient and developed a passion for barbering. Around the same time, he learned that his great-grandfather had also been a barber in Pittsburgh’s West End—the very neighborhood where Curtis grew up.

When the Barber School of Pittsburgh opened a location there at the end of his high school years, it felt like fate, inspiring him to pursue barbering as a career.

Graduating at the top of his class in early 2011, Curtis has since worked at four barbershops, serving as manager at two of them since 2014.

He specializes in all hair textures and short-to-medium hairstyles.
