Our Family Legacy
For more than 66 years, the Williams family has carried on a proud barbering tradition across Pittsburgh blending timeless skill with deep community roots.
It all began with Tom Williams, who started cutting hair at a Homestead barbershop before opening Tom’s Barber Shop in Duquesne in 1961. For 61 years, Tom served generations of families until selling the shop in 2022—but even at 85, he continues to cut hair at his nephew’s barbershop, with many loyal customers following him there.
His nephew Ron Williams has been barbering for over 41 years and founded Ron’s Barber Shop in Munhall back in 1990, where he still greets clients today.
Today, Kenny proudly continues this family tradition at McGuinn’s Barbershop, carrying forward a legacy of skill, service, and community built over more than six decades.
